The camera, as ubiquitous as it is, appears invisible for most of its time; being looked right through, from both sides. Yet when someone pulls a camera out, it’s often noticed by all around.

This project is a little more personal. These are the cameras we learnt the art of photography with, the heirlooms passed down by family members, the tools we fell in love with. The tools of our trade are often overlooked but we wanted to give these relics a moment in the spotlight!

In our eyes, these cameras are as beautiful as the images they have the potential of taking. So these prints represent our appreciation and passion for the tools of our trade.
